Is it a real flame?

No. It is an LED lit through the rising mist. Nothing burns, nothing gets hot, and you can leave it on a wooden shelf without thinking about it.

How many flame colours are there?

Seven. One button cycles through them, and a second button changes the colour of the mist on top.

Which essential oils can I use?

Any water-soluble essential oil. A few drops in the tank is enough — adding more will not make the scent stronger, it will only cloud the water.

Can I run it without oil?

Yes. Water on its own gives you the mist and the flame effect. The oil only adds the scent.

Does it switch off on its own?

Set the timer to 1, 3 or 5 hours and it stops by itself. Handy if you want it running while you fall asleep.
